When this IT Team embarked on a new software rollout -- one that would take three years from investigation to delivery -- the eight-person group (which included software development professionals, writers, graphic designers and an accountant) first turned to RedPoint for team development support. Just as the team successfully completed the rollout and turned their attention to the software's sustained usage and management, Casey, the team manager, began a six-month maternity leave. Given Casey's longevity with the company and her success as team manager, filling her role would be tough - so they called RedPoint. We used information from the group's earlier team-building work to help decide on Casey's successor. Nathalie was in a classic position. The questions in her most recent interview left her stammering for answers and wondering why she'd applied for the job in the first place. With each successive application and interview, Nathalie became increasingly frustrated and confused about what her career goals actually were. She even wondered whether a few more years of school might help her sort things out - but first she called RedPoint.
